Replace text
Click detected PDF text, cover it cleanly, and type the new wording.
Replace visible text, add whiteout, sign forms, place checks, highlight important lines, stamp images, and export a clean no-watermark copy without uploading your file.
Add text, signatures, date stamps, checkmarks, highlights, and image stamps in your browser.
A short walkthrough will show how to upload a PDF, replace visible text, add a signature, place marks, and download the finished copy. Until the demo is added, the editor above is ready to use directly.
Most PDF jobs are not full rewrites. They are a corrected name, a changed date, a missing checkmark, a signature, a highlighted clause, or one visible value that needs to be covered and replaced. This PDF editor is built for those real workflows: local rendering, visual page editing, no watermark export, and clear guidance when a file is scanned or flattened.
Choose a PDF file from your device or drag it into the upload area.
Use Text, Replace text, Whiteout, Signature, Date, Check, Cross, Highlight, or Image depending on the job.
Click the PDF page to place an item, then select it to resize, recolor, style text, duplicate, layer, copy, paste, delete, or edit its wording.
Use page thumbnails, zoom controls, undo and redo, and edit outlines to inspect your changes before exporting.
Export a new edited PDF copy with no watermark.
Add names, addresses, dates, checkmarks, signatures, and supporting image stamps without printing the PDF.
Cover a wrong value with whiteout, add corrected text, and tune color and size so the page still looks clean.
Highlight important lines, mark approvals with checks or crosses, and keep the exported copy easy to share.
When text is not selectable, use visual editing here or run OCR first if you need extracted text from the scan.
Some PDFs contain a readable text layer. Others are scans, screenshots, flattened exports, or documents with custom font encoding. When the editor detects selectable text, Replace text can help you cover and rewrite visible text. When it cannot, Whiteout plus Text is the right visual workflow.
Forms, loan papers, invoices, ID documents, school records, and client approvals often contain private data. This tool renders and exports the PDF in your browser instead of sending the document to a StudioSEO upload server. The practical benefit is simple: you can fill, sign, mark, and download a clean copy while keeping the file on your device.
Clear answers for privacy, text replacement, scanned PDFs, signatures, images, and exporting a clean edited file.
No. The PDF is opened, edited, and exported in your browser. Your file is not uploaded to StudioSEO servers, which is useful for forms, invoices, IDs, applications, and private documents.
If the PDF has selectable text, the Replace text tool can cover the old visible text and place editable replacement text above it. If the PDF is scanned, flattened, or uses unusual embedded fonts, use Whiteout plus Text or run OCR first.
That message means the browser PDF parser could not read a usable text layer from the file. The page may be a scan, a photo-based PDF, a flattened export, or a document with custom font encoding. You can still add text, whiteout, signatures, marks, and image stamps.
You can visually mark up scanned PDFs, cover areas with whiteout, add new text, sign, date, highlight, and stamp images. For true text extraction from a scanned PDF, use OCR first, then return here for visible corrections.
Yes. You can draw a signature, type a signature, or upload a signature image, then place it on the PDF and download the edited copy without a watermark.
No. The exported file contains your original PDF plus the edits you placed on it. StudioSEO branding is not added to the downloaded document.
Yes. Use Text for names and values, Date for date fields, Check or Cross for boxes, Signature for signatures, and Image for stamps or supporting visuals.
Use Select mode, then hold Ctrl or Shift while clicking items on the PDF page. You can duplicate or delete the selected group, and individual item controls remain available when one item is selected.
Yes. Use the Undo and Redo buttons in the editor toolbar, or use Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y from your keyboard while working in the editor.
The editor opens on mobile, but precise PDF editing is easier on a laptop or desktop because selecting, dragging, resizing, and aligning items requires more screen space.
Yes. Upload up to five PNG, JPG, or WEBP image stamps, choose the one you want, and place it on any PDF page. If you need a different image after the tray is full, remove one tray image and upload another.
Yes. Select a text or date item and use the style controls for font family, bold, italic, underline, alignment, opacity, size, and color. Keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I, and Ctrl+U also work when a text item is selected.
Yes. Select one or more edits and use the layer controls to send them backward, forward, to the back, or to the front. The same order is used when the edited PDF is exported.
Use Replace text when selectable text is detected. If it is not detected, place Whiteout over the wrong area, add new Text or Date above it, then adjust size and color until it matches the document.
No browser PDF editor can reliably turn every PDF into a Word-like document. This tool focuses on practical visible edits: filling, signing, covering, replacing visible text, highlighting, and stamping.
The editor preserves the original PDF pages and adds your new edits on top. Very large files or complex PDFs may take longer to render and export depending on your device.
Yes. The PDF editor is free to use, works in the browser, requires no account, and exports edited PDFs without adding a watermark.
