Are my PDF files uploaded to StudioSEO?
No. The PDF is opened, edited, and exported in your browser. Your file is not uploaded to StudioSEO servers, which is useful for forms, invoices, IDs, applications, and private documents.
Can I edit existing text inside a PDF?
If the PDF has selectable text, the Replace text tool can cover the old visible text and place editable replacement text above it. If the PDF is scanned, flattened, or uses unusual embedded fonts, use Whiteout plus Text or run OCR first.
Why does the editor say no selectable text was detected?
That message means the browser PDF parser could not read a usable text layer from the file. The page may be a scan, a photo-based PDF, a flattened export, or a document with custom font encoding. You can still add text, whiteout, signatures, marks, and image stamps.
Does this PDF editor support scanned documents?
You can visually mark up scanned PDFs, cover areas with whiteout, add new text, sign, date, highlight, and stamp images. For true text extraction from a scanned PDF, use OCR first, then return here for visible corrections.
Can I sign a PDF online for free?

Can I undo and redo PDF edits?
Yes. Use the Undo and Redo buttons in the editor toolbar, or use Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y from your keyboard while working in the editor.
Can I use this PDF editor on mobile?
The editor opens on mobile, but precise PDF editing is easier on a laptop or desktop because selecting, dragging, resizing, and aligning items requires more screen space.
Can I add images to a PDF?

Yes. Select one or more edits and use the layer controls to send them backward, forward, to the back, or to the front. The same order is used when the edited PDF is exported.
What is the best way to replace a wrong name or date?
Use Replace text when selectable text is detected. If it is not detected, place Whiteout over the wrong area, add new Text or Date above it, then adjust size and color until it matches the document.
Can I edit every PDF like a Word document?
